Wednesday, 28 July 1999 1800 I'm trying to compile the driver for the first time, and I've run into an immediate brick wall: Out of the four configuration options listed in "readme.1st" as needing to be selected, I can find only the first one (Plug and Play support). The only other option under that heading is "Auto-probe for parallel devices," and I've checked and rechecked every other heading in the configuration dialog, with no success. Where, then, are the remaining three options (Plug and Play subsystem, PnP ISA support, and PnP auto-configures all devices)? On a somewhat-related note, an otherwise-successful make of the driver produced the following error message (from ~/pnp/pnpset/Makefile): newt.h: No such file or directory I ran YaST (I have SuSE 6.1) and looked through every package on the CD in a search for anything on newt, but no success. In which package is newt.h hiding? Respectfully, Bryan A. Clark _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web. Visit http://www.msn.com
