This is due to your ICD loader. The libOpenCL it links to is the loader, in your case ocl-icd. It doesn't link against pocl directly. Here it seems you have compiled it with too old OpenCL support as clReleaseDevice was added only in 1.2, IIRC. I have seen this once.
