With The Master Chief Collection, 343 Industries have brought back the maps 
shared from the original games, and you can now use forge in Halo 2: 
Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 4, and Halo: Reach. Maybe you do not want to 
create your own mode or restructure a map, though. What should you do then? 
Luckily, you can download custom maps and modes shared by other players. 
Here is how you can do so.

There are two ways to find new custom maps and modes in The Master Chief 
Collection. The first one is to simply play a custom match, and the map and 
mode (if customary) will appear in your temporary files. As the name 
implies, these will not stay here, so be sure to download whatever ones you 
want when done playing or between matches. To do this, open Options & 
Career, select either Game Types or Map Variants, and the first section 
that appears will be your Temporary Files. Select Save to put them in your 
Private Files, or Upload to add them to your Shared Files.

This spreadsheet has a vast list of some of the best community creators 
with a wide variety of maps and modes to try out. Until the custom browser 
is added to the game, be sure to search online and see what community 
creators you can find.

*When I permit others to make copies of my maps, will those copies restart 
at version number 1 and be saved separate from my own, or will theirs be 
alternate versions of my own map in my own version count lineup?*

At launch, any mode logic created using Node Graph will need to be 
contained within a map by using a script brain. That said, players can 
create prefabs that contain script brains and related mode objects to share 
with map makers. This will make it easier to integrate custom modes into 
maps.

*If possible, can we get more info on how it works when I download a map 
from someone, and they update it later? Would it download the changes as an 
update? Or do I need to manually download the new version? (By extension 
what about prefabs people made as well if they are updated?)*

In terms of audio, we are currently focused on improvingacoustic fidelity 
in Forge. In an effort to reduce the amount of manual work onplayers when 
creating Forge maps, we employ a simplified version of theacoustics system. 
Because of these differences, audio traveling betweendifferent rooms will 
not be as muffled as in dev maps. Improvements in thisarea are in the works 
for a future update.

The Halo Custom Edition game (Halo CE) is a free unsupported upgrade and 
standalone program that will install alongside of your Halo PC game. Unlike 
Halo PC The Halo CE game allows you to play and or create custom maps for 
multiplayer on-line play. All map files and utilities on this website are 
for the Halo CE game only. You must own a licensed copy of Halo PC, have 
the CDROM and the license key in order to install this game.

Halo Reach is finally out on PC, and players are a bit perplexed on how to 
get into the custom maps. This guide aims to help you out and guide you 
through and through how to set everything up and get right into the game. 
So read on to learn how to download Custom Maps in Halo Reach MCC on PC.

Halo Infinite's Forge beta officially went live alongside the release of 
the massive Winter Update earlier this week, and even though the latest 
iteration of the franchise's beloved map-making tool hasn't even been out 
for 48 hours, players have already begun to build incredible creations. And 
while Halo Infinite does have an official Content Browser that allows the 
wider community to find and download these projects, our friends at XboxEra 
have launched an additional user-driven tool that compliments it perfectly: 
FORGERA.

FORGERA, as XboxEra co-founder and Editor-in-Chief Jon Clarke explains in 
the video embedded below, is a powerful webapp designed to make finding and 
sharing Halo Infinite Forge creations easy, quick, and intuitive. After 
creating a free account on the site, players can use it to publish their 
custom-made content with screenshots, video previews, in-depth 
descriptions, and a direct link to where other users can download it on 
Halo Waypoint's Content Browser. The webapp also automatically generates a 
QR code for each published creation that can be used to direct people to it 
on social media, and each post also has a comment section that both the 
project's author and its fans can discuss the map with.

If you're not interested in sharing your Forge creations and just want to 
find maps, modes, or prefabs made by others, you can do so easily by taking 
advantage of FORGERA's extensive filters that allow you to quickly narrow 
down search results. The site's homepage will also highlight three featured 
creations each week, and the XboxEra team has plans to create "bespoke 
video features" for each of these that showcases them in the limelight. 
Clarke says that moving forward, the wider community will be able to get 
involved with the process of deciding what gets featured by voting in 
XboxEra forum polls.

Of course, there are many other excellent custom maps in Halo Infinite that 
were created in Forge. These are just our favourites. It's always worth 
checking out the Halo Waypoint content browser to see what's new.

*Game type: Zombies*: Released though the Official Xbox Magazine in Demo 
disc 45 as a download for Xbox in June, 2005.[2] This is the only official 
way to get the game type on the Xbox version of the game.

*Killtacular Pack*: Released on Xbox LIVE on April 25, 2005 for $4.99, and 
was made permanently free on June 28, 2005. It contained the maps Sanctuary 
and Turf. It is no longer possible to download this DLC through Xbox LIVE.

*Maptacular Pack*: Released on Xbox LIVE on July 5, 2005 for $11.99, and 
was made permanently free on August 30, 2005. It contained the maps Gemini, 
Elongation, Backwash, Relic, and Terminal. It is no longer possible to 
download this DLC through Xbox LIVE.

*Blastacular Pack*: Released on April 17, 2007 for $4.00, and re-released 
as an updated package on May 7, 2007 (still for $4.00), as several glitches 
discovered in the included content had been fixed, and made permanently 
free on July 7, 2007. It contained the maps Desolation and Tombstone. It is 
no longer possible to download this DLC through Xbox LIVE.
