But if you have a severe syntax-error which prevents normal loading, the
analysis won't start at all, so there is no structure display.

Thats where Preflights PDF Syntax Errors check comes in handy...
Also, if anyone has requests for tools youd like to see to help in
analyzing PDFs let me know...

after pre-flight, is very useful and for me preferable to PoDoFo-Browser.
The main problem is, you wont get it, if there is a real error in the
structure! That's the point, when I have to switch back to PoDoFo-Browser.

I was pleased to note that the latest version of Acrobat Pro appears to
contain a document structure inspector very like PoDoFoBrowser.
With that, and the PDF syntax check, Acrobat Pro has become a lot more
useful for PDF developers. It's always been a very poor test of PDF quality,
since it tends to cover up, fix, or ignore syntax and compliance problems,
so it's nice to see some verification tools come out.
PoDoFoBrowser users with Acrobat Pro might find the document structure
inspector useful too.
