I meant to post this to the list, but accidentally sent it to Craig only. I can provide access to a Windows XP Pro instance (over RDP, running in VMWare) that has MSVC 6.0, SP6 and the Feb 2003 Platform SDK installed. Below is my original email/posting.
MS VC 6.0 typically comes with a subscription to the MSDN kit. The kit includes lots of older utilities, operating systems, older copies of office, etc... Costs vary. A year or so ago Microsoft was running a promotion that the kit was $349/developer. But on their web sites prices start at $1000 and go up. Not very fun. I do have MSVC 6.0, which I use. I plan on using Podofo in a future (Linux based) project and joined the mailing list a few weeks ago to get a feel for the library and community. I can help you test things if you'd like. I can possibly provide you with remote desktop access to a Windows XP Pro virtual machine with the MSVC dev kit installed (but I need time to set it up.
