Hi, at my company we receive large PDFs with thousands of pages in them. I'm looking to write a script or program that can carve these up into smaller individual PDFs, but the podofo implementation doesn't quite work. Copying tens of thousands of pages unnecesarily wastes memory and time, so I was wondering if there was any interest in patches that rewrite that function to be a bit smarter?
I'd be happy to contribute patches, but don't want to waste my time if the idea will be shot down.
