I suggest you to read the PDF (1.7) reference/specification, there
you'll see how the things are stored and then use PoDoFo classes to get
to those dictionaries, keys, objects and eventually (indirect)
references. PoDoFo doesn't offer direct APIs for each thing which can
be stored in a PDF file.
