the attachment didn't make it through, or you accidentally didn't
attach it.
Anyway, it seems to me that the render application you use doesn't
understand the "ColorSpace Indexed" value. Just search the pdf content
for "Indexed" word (quotes for clarity only), that will show the image
itself.
I do not know what software you use, but did you try an Acrobat reader?
What if the file is not encrypted, would it help? I doubt it would,
because the error doesn't seem to be about the encryption, but one
never knows.
By the way, how was the image created in the PDF? If you simply
encrypted an already existing PDF file, and that file can be properly
rendered, then it's possible the save garbled the content in some way.
Check the source and the result PDF content, especially the affected
image, what changed on them. It might be tricky due to encryption, thus
maybe try only plain re-save in PoDoFo, without encryption.
