Hi,
I do not expect the support for ttc fonts being anything new in
the freetype, even 2.4.12 is almost 3 years old [1].
I'd suggest to run your code under debugger and see where the exception
is thrown. Based on that check the reason of the exception being thrown
and where under the CreateFont() call that condition had been set.
I already suggested the same in the previous email, though.
