As announced previously, there will be a code freeze in place on PoDoFo
Repository FROM NOW ON. This is to be understood as a feature freeze and
also only critical bugs or build issues should be fixed from now on.
Thanks to everyone for all the patches that were sent since the release
announcement. I did not expect so many contributions and I am pleasantly
surprised how active the PoDoFo community is!
I will upload tarballs of podofo-0.9.4-rc1 today or tomorrow and hope that
we can tests this on many platforms and have a good quality 0.9.4 release
on June 1rst.
After the release, we will of course also start integrating feature patches
and other patches that did not make it into this release.

The last stable version of PoDoFo was released almost two years ago.
Lately, there were also questions on the mailing list, when the next
release can be expected.
Furthermore, countless patches have been integrated over the last two
years! So, the quality of the current SVN trunk is much better than the
latest release.
Zyx approached me and we agreed to plan a new release of PoDoFo. I plan to
introduce a code freeze starting on May 18th and package a new release of
PoDoFo with version 0.9.4 on June 1rst 2016.
That means, after code freeze we have 2 weeks to test and stabalize the
current code base (by just introducing minor changes and really important
fixes).
We should use the remaining month until May 18th to include more patches
and to further stabalize the current trunk.
