        Hi,
you've clearly something wrong in your "linking space". What do you
compile yourself and what you left for the system/distribution? In case
you compile also freetype and notably fontconfig, then I'd guess you
have them configured with an incorrect font path, thus the fonts cannot
be found (or any similar issue). Just a guess. Try to use fontconfig
and/or freetype from the system for testing purposes.
