Hi,
PoDoFo provides low level API to read any object of the PDF file (see
PdfObject referencing API), through which you can get to dictionaries,
variants and basically anything there, including streams.
Thus the answer is 'yes, there is a way to do it'.
I do not have any exact code snippets to give you a link to, try to
search the tools and examples provided in the PoDoFo sources, maybe
there's something useful (I do not know off head).
