I believe this has been posted before.
As per PDF reference 1.7, the values in names tree can be either direct objects
or indirect object reference(except for stream objects).
<<<The values associated with the keys may be objects of any type. Stream
objects are required to be specified by indirect object references. It is
recommended, though not required, that dictionary, array, and string objects be
specified by indirect object references, and other PDF objects (nulls, numbers,
booleans, and names) be specified as direct objects.>>>
However the podofo code which retrieves value from names tree assumes the value
to be always of reference type. I have faced problem because of this while
retrieving named destinations in a particular file.

I am not exactly sure how to fix this. But I guess it won't be too difficult if
you are somewhat familiar with PoDoFo architecture.
