        Hi,
what is the version of PoDoFo you are using, please? Being it 0.9.5,
could you rather try with svn snapshot instead [1], thus you get all
the fixes which landed after that release, please?

Do you really mean "filenames"? Like when you copy test.pdf to
other.pdf file, thus their content is exactly the same, then you get no
crash? That would be really surprising to me. I'd rather believe it's
related to the file content. Depending on the version you use, and if
you can still reproduce with the svn snapshot [1], would it be possible
to share your test.pdf, please? I do not know a good free tool for
Windows to test things like what valgrind and similar Linux tools do.
Windows has something similar, the code can be compiled with extra
checks, but I do not know how well it works with C++ (and it's been a
long time I seriously used it).
        Thanks and bye,
        zyx
