Hi, I won't call it, neither understand it, that way, really. I know Ogre3D project used such a volunteer to modernize their examples and it was a great success from my point of view. PoDoFo is not Ogre3D, of course. Tools are good not only because you can just use them, they can be used also as an example of how to use the project/API. You can have it also as a test, even not automated, that the code does what it should do, on real life data, not with artificial data. Tools have several benefits, even you look on them as a maintenance burden. I can test the podofo-sign, after all I added it. No promise when it'll be, I'm busy with some real life work at the moment (and for quite some time), but I can do it if nobody will be quicker than me.
