We voted on this and everyone agreed a "1.5" production release with the new
jakarta namespaces was called for. The hold up right now is someone from
jakarta with sufficient karma must copy the already existing webpage over to
the main jakarta site. We'll of course want to automate the process as
well. We're pretty much ready IMHO (just maybe a weeks worth of tying down
the hatches) -- just we don't want to have a jakarta release without the
pages being up.

Overall I think the jakarta transition/etc on whole has cost us about a
month (provided the site is up soon). Not too bad I think. Not great, but
not bad. That puts 2.0 in late April- sometime in May.

Furthermore, I'll check in the PERL script I used to convert everything and
post instructions on how to use it.
