As per your mails, it seems the problem is fixed in a newer version. Its just a suggestion to try out the latest code from CVS. If you say it worked well in 1.10, your problem is not the same as the one that has just been fixed.
As I said earlier, if you want us to figure this out, you have to provide a testcase with the sheet and the code. Otherwise, we can only speculate.
