Apparently InvocationTargetException error is on the bug list http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=28772 I'm sure there are other things besides autofiltering which can cause this error however .....
just wondering if anyone knows how to turn off autofiltering in an excel workbook prior to reading it.
