now i could need some help:
I got totally stuked on blind-settings. Are there good rules to
have some defaults to chose from? I'm thinking about a little
more complex calculation witch combines linear and exponential
growth. depending on the players that are involved. if just 2
players it has to be linear with maybe 10 the blinds would
double each time. I'm not sure if thats a good way, and what
values to chose? (i'm only taking about tournament tables of cause)
I did that with the payouts as well: The first always gets 2
times as much as the second, the second 2* as much as the third
and so on. then the user just has to specify how many players
may get a payout. I liked that, as is making it easier for the
user, and sticks to common usage as well. (this was to show what
i wanna do with blind-settings as well, but if there are any
suggestions to improve that just tell me)
Do know if any kind of disclaimer is needed?
Maybe something telling that it's only about play money, to make
sure nobody will sue someone for the money that was give to him
inside that script?
Or anything else? (Personaly i would consider that as totally
stupid, but i'm german, and i guess u all know that there are
other country's [not to be named] where it's normal to sue
everybody for everything [e.g. because it was not written in the
manual that this microwave may not be used to dry your pet])

About my script
Ever since i switched to linux i missed a online poker. I wrote
this just to play poker with my bro (he's using windos [shame on
him]). Now i try to write a pokerscript that may be copyed and
installed very easely on any apache, and needs no installation
for the cient. With my first speed tests I found out that this
script is capable to serve a maximum of ca. 100 clients on my PC
(1.3 GHrz, DSL-upstream: 256 kbit). Meaning it's intended to be
for fast use and small communities.
It's written in a laage that's very simular to english (would be
english if i had any idea of spelling). It may be translated but
i will alway keep the playmoney unit "DM" (me and my friends
still call that "real money" to separate it from EUR)
