It looks good. We migh be able to remove the cygwin hack that was
necessary in the past. What happens if you just comment out
cygwin* | mingw*)
am_cv_python]$2[_linkflags='-lpython2.4' ;;
in the config/ccpython.m4 file ?
Hopefully it will work. If it does, I'd be very gratefull if you could
try with a python2.4 installed also.
