--- Begin Message --- I have optimized the CSS files of jpoker today. While doing this, several questions / ideas arose, which i have noted here:
http://jspoker.pokersource.info/ideas.html#rikeko

Now, there are several problems with working on the table itself :

- the markup cannot be modified too much, so that compatibility is guaranteed with the clients at skyrock, playboy and pokermania.

- In order to have decent images (not the GIFs with the white borders), i would need the original graphics. Where can I find these ? I had a look in the sources of jpoker, but i did not find a bigger image of the whole table. I would also need these graphics for the CSS sprites (so I dont do it with the GIFs or do it twice).

When discussing on #pokersource it also appeared that it is not quite clear if you want to abandon automatic generation of the CSS. I think that this is a decision you have to make first. And afterwards I can work on the table's CSS.

In order to insure backwards compatibility, Loic suggested on #pokersource (maybe Proppy suggested it before?) to work, a little bit like Wordpress, with themes, one could modify wihtout actually modifying the whole code. I think this is a good idea, what do you think ? Does this seem feasable ? I think that if something like this is put into place, I could continue to work on jpoker's CSS files more easily. Also, it would actually allow people to add skins to jpoker easily (and maybe even publish them apart from or as a part of jpoker).

Proppy, I finally managed to push my changes to the upstream.

Please do not hesitate to comment on the
ideas.html, too.

Ulrike
