Recently, I received questions regarding costs for advertising commercial events on PoloniaSFO. I would like to inform everyone that the businesses organizing events for profit are asked to donate money to a non profit Polish organization. Yes, they can say that Lewandowski wants money for informing people, but Lewandowski had built this information structure as volunteer and wants to use the money for Polish non profit organization of his choice. The money is paid directly to the organization. Recently, the Polish school in Orinda received $200 and I have a promise of another $200 for Polish American Congress. Because voluntary contributions are rather small, this is one of the ways to gather the funds. I think this is fair. ########################################### 3. Hello, My name is Mira Szymaniak. I am a graduate student at the University of Szczecin. My Master's thesis I am gathering materials for are titled -- "Poles in America". I think that it is very interesting subject, and that's why I want to write about it. Now I am trying to get some information about Poles in US. I hope that you can help me.
