People with a paranoid personality project their own conflicts and

with suspicions to changes in situation. Often the suspiciousness leads to
aggressive behaviors or rejection by others - result that seem to justify
their original feelings. Those with a paranoid presonality often take legal
action against others, especially if they feel righteously indignant. They
are unable to see their own roles in a conflict. Often they have a sense of
superiority and an exaggerated belief in their own value or importance, what
is also called "grandiosity". People with this personality may be extremely
sensitive to failure, defeat, or criticism and, when confronted by a failure
to fulfill their high opinion of themselves, can easily become enraged or
severely depressed. Their behavior is usually offensive to others, who view
them as self-centered, arrogant and selfish.
