I havent made the templates as i would like to do, but patch is already there if you want to download and watch it.We've done something similar with perl scripts that "tail -F" the log files, and expose the 5 minute averages via SNMP to graph them with cricket/rrdtool.
Here's a screenshot of the graph i'm actually generating with cacti: http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/6481/policydpt0.jpg and the original thread which has the URL of the patch i'm still using. http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=45A19537.3060107%40solutti.com.br&forum_name=policyd-usersat first i was thinking of building several cacti templates, trying to group the statistics in relevant graphs. It would be extremely confusing to graph 20 numbers in the same graph, altough that's possible with cacti/rrdtool. But graph shows pretty weird on that ....
unluckly i havent done all those templates and stuck with this one. Basically i would like to monitor greylist=new, greylist=update, whitelist_dnsname and blacklist_dnsname. So, for my needs, the only template i generated is being enough.
