Hi all
anybody using a similar setup here and willing to share their my.cnf settings
for the mysql daemon, or just some performance/bottleneck hints?
- two instances of policyd (each one on its own mailserver)
- mysql server installed on one of the mailservers
- 6M entries in triplet table, greylist settings 2m - 24h - 36d, only
greylisting module active (eg. no AWS or quota configured)
- 800 maildomains, with a total of about 5M incoming connections per day
(balanced between the two mailservers)
cleanup still takes about 6 minutes on the mysql server, running and deleting
in average 150000 triplet records each hour.
Though seems to depend on the load because some hours its finished in less than
a minute.
Freundliche GrĂ¼sse / Kind regards,
Thomas Mendorf
