When using a HTTP CONNECT, I think Polipo returns an invalid response.
Firefox would respond with the following alert:
"[Website.com] has sent an incorrect or unexpected message. error code:
-12263"
When I tried to do check what Polipo returns when i issue a connect
command, it just echos the connect command like:
CONNECT [Website.com] HTTP/1.1
but I think the correct response should be:
HTTP/1.1 200 Connection established
I am using Polipo 1.0.1-2ubuntu1 (gutsy), I have also tried the version
1.0.3-1ubuntu1 but both gives the same result.
