Hi Polipo people,

I have a certain use case and I'd like to understand how Polipo behaves in this
scenario:

Multiple users access the same resource near simultaneously. The response can
take a while to come back due to a slow satellite link.

Does/can polipo collapse the requests into one and wait for the response
(which squid calls "collapsed forwarding")? When I tried this, a while ago, by
blasting identical requests at it, it looked like Polipo was sending multiple
requests until a certain point, which was maybe when the reply was received.
Does that seem correct?

(Obviously if the reply is "private" then the q'd requests waiting for the
response would need to be sent then but this would be better than transferring
large files over and over again.)

TIA, -jl
