Paul Wolfowitz is not simply Jewish, which is neither here nor there, but he is a militant Jewish nationalist, the Jewish equivalent of a Muslim radical or a militant white nationalist.  We know this because of the social network -- neoconservatism -- in which he is deeply embedded, and which includes such close associates as Douglas Feith, Richard Perle, Michael Ledeen and Benjamin Netanyahu.  Wolfowitz was the chief architect of the Iraq War and he waged this war on behalf of Israel, period -- not on behalf of the arms lobby, the oil lobby or any other interest.  Wolfowitz is all about narrow ethnic nationalism and nothing else, although, like some of the other neocons, he attempts, absurdly, to adopt the coloration of an enlightened universalist in order to disarm and confuse his political opponents.

Paul Wolfowitz was the second child of Jacob Wolfowitz and Lillian Dundes. He grew up in the university town of Ithaca, New York, where his father was a Professor of Statistics at Cornell University.

 

Jacob Wolfowitz was a Polish national of Jewish descent who fled to the US with his parents in 1920 to escape persecution. Many of Wolfowitz’s relatives left behind in Poland were to die in The Holocaust. James Mann, in Rise of the Vulcans, says that Jacob Wolfowitz "was a committed Zionist throughout his life and, in later years, was also active in organizing protests against Soviet repression of dissidents and minorities."

 

Jacob Wolfowitz took his family with him when he taught sabbatical semesters at UCLA and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and in 1957, at the age of fourteen, Paul Wolfowitz spent a year living in Israel while his father was teaching at The Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa; Wolfowitz’s sister would later emigrate permanently to Israel. In 1961, Wolfowitz graduated from Ithaca High School, where he had worked on the Tattler student newspaper. Wolfowitz was excused from military service in the Vietnam War through student deferments in order to pursue his academic studies.

is it true that paul wolfowitz is "not jewish" and has actually been involved with a muslim woman of saudi arabia for years?  dave emory also says that grover norquist is married to a palestinian muslim woman and "has been evasive on questions about whether he has converted to islam."  heh.  a little after 18 minutes in, i think.
