I don't live as well as I did before Junior. I'll make it through. In fact, I make about a third of what I did in 1996, without any adjustments. My wife had a talk with me one day when I was really despondent because of the economic realities of Bush. She reminded me I was a Marine. She asked me if the Marines would be proud of me. That was the day I decided I would make it despite Republican economic policies.
And if anyone has a question about it, yes, after 10 years in the Corps, that is the guage of my life.
