Almost immediately after Palin was named McCain's VP pick, the McCain
campaign started bragging about her "executive experience" as well as
her "commander in chief experience" of the Alaska National Guard.

However, soon the truth of the matter--that Palin had very little to
do with the National Guard--became apparent, especially once the real
commander of the Gard (Major General Craig Campbell, made statements
that refuted Palin's claims. The McCain-Paln campaign spokesperson,
TuckerBounds, during the GOP convention, then became the object of
redicule when he tried to explain on CNN about Palin's foreign-policy
experience.

However, miraculously and very suddenly, Major Genral Campbell
completely flipped on his story and, by the end of the convention he
was praising Palin's experience, telling the TV viewers that she had
taken cotrol of Alaska's National Guard and was a great leader.

Would you be surprised to learn that, only three days later, Palin
promoted him with his third star, to the rank of Lt. General!

Prior to his flipping, Campbell had not been at all helpful to Palin's
campaign. Suddenly, he has become one of her most ardent supporters.

So the nation gets a birds-eye view of how Palin gets her way--and it
certainly isn't ethical, especially if it involves whoring a General
for political purposes.
