Of course I understand all that...I was educated in the US. I also understand the term "influence" and "behind closed doors" and "vote- buying". I understand that people in the US (heaven help them) think her personal mantra is just peachy. THAT worries me. It worries me that thre isn't just one Sarah Palin, but that women are buying into this. Don't you educate your women over there? Do they still see themselves as Moms and aspire to nothing else...that this makes her "one of them"??Dont they think about the colour and complexion of such garbage? And if the next Repub. legislative isn't lanything like her, why was she chosen as running mate? It then looks more and more slimy, manipulative and a token gesture. So there won't be any role whatsoever for her...she won't agree with McCain? What then for goernment? And when McCain kicks the bucket. He is 73 and has had 4 heart attacks. And you are taking a chance with this mad woman? One who could nominate Supreme Judges which would support a pro-llife ticket to make the lives of thusands of women a misery. Who would disregard the protected areas of Alaska "in the public interest" and speed up the melting of the ice cap. How would SHE deal with Putin or North Korea? With China, Pakistan or with Afghanistan? My god...it makes the mind boggle!! creusa
