cCain BRAGS about how fiscally responsible Palin is, and Palin BRAGS about the $5 Billion dollar surplus Alaska enjoys. Considering McCain wants to make the tax cuts permanent and reduce taxes to corporations WHY did he pick a VP who RAISED the taxes on the oil companies in Alaska! Palin RAISED the taxes on the Oil Companies in Alaska, and took part of those tax increase and gave $1200 checks to Alaskans. This was NOT a TAX REBATE check. This was free money the Alaskans had not earned themselves, the OIL COMPANIES and earned the profits. No wonder Palin has an 80% approval rating, you give me free money I would like you TOO! Now considering the Republicans fought tooth and nail to block a tax on oil company profits to use for alternative energy research, how do the Republicans justify a Governor who raises taxes on oil companies to give checks to Alaskans?
