If you understood anything about Economics, you would understand that "gulf" is only going to continue to grow... What you don't get is that it isn't that "gulf" that is important. What is important is how the lowest possible denominator is "doing" compared to the Average. That a good portion of our Poor Own their own Home, own a Car or two, color Televisions, microwaves, air conditioning... Now THAT says something.
