Actually Obama has been talking about reforming the Mortgage industry for the last two years. In fact he has submitted legislation to address the issue on several different occasions
It is McCain who is clueless. and wants to show his leadership in a time of emergency by organizing a committee to gather information. I guess if the answer doesn't involve shooting first and sorting out the bodies later, the Republicans don't know what to do.
