Frank, even taking that "viewpoint" the issue still isn't cut and dry as far as what was requested - I know there is a figure of $550,000 listed in the OMB document, but I also found this: http://www.gov.state.ak.us/omb/09_omb/budget/DCCED/Veto/2009proj45907.pdf I don't know about you, but this looks to me like a request for $275,000 by the Alaska Special Olympics....and that's exactly the amount that was granted by Gov.
