Among the many cultural and political highs achieved by the the candidates, it was the discussion on international affairs that will be burned into to my psyche forever. Biden quite rightly questioned what experience does Palin bring with her regarding national security for instance. As Biden pointed out, he had voted for the bombing of many innocent people in Iraq, sort of pales against telling off a librarian don't it? Palin, sharp as pin retorted, "well you've got a big nose and you'll always have a big nose." Gets 'em every time. Biden was shaken but managed to compose himself and shot back with, "what if McCain died of a drug overdose and Russia was invading America, would you have the courage to push red button, well would you?"
Palin was furious at having her resolve to commit mass murder questioned and responded with seeting vitriol "yes I would, I would have the courage to do what is necessary, in fact go and get the button, go on, get it now, I'll show you. Think I won't push it, do you? Come on let's see whose got the bigger balls.
