I understand what it is like to now have lost nearly 1/3 of my Wealth
in just the last few Months, becvause Capitalism isn't perfect, and I
took risks I should have not taken.

What capitalism?
Capitalism is the system in which people are free to use their private
property without outside interference.
What America has is NOT capitalism, but a variant of Socialism.
the Government INTERFERES in the marketplace causing all
sorts of havoc that would otherwise NOT be "noticed".
Consider this .... in the Marketplace there might be 1,000,000
Companies offering mortgages. If these operated "independently"
(ie. no interference from Government), then the likelihood of
ALL (read: a considerable number like now) of them doing EXACTLY
the same thing to their detriment is approaching ZERO.
Instead, the GOVERNMENT is dictating what each of these 1,000,000
Companies MUST do ... and when the Government's "planning" fails
(as it will ALWAYS do) .... we have the problems we see today.
