This is the real bankruptcy of liberalism. The US is not a democracy. It is a dirty, filthy plutocracy--rotten to the core. If it was a democracy, the president would have been jailed years ago, and you wouldn't have two presidential candidates advocate more wars of criminal aggression.
As if they will be successful in stopping wire tapping which is intergral to the fascist police state that emerges ever more clearly day by day. The wire tapping is central to them in identifying and suppress bourgeoning political dissent. You can't expect a criminal plutocracy to pay heed to the laws they write and abrogate day in day out. "That's why the ACLU is acting decisively to bring our government's behavior back in line with the Constitution." The goverment loves pressure politics, as they can just continue to ignore it, and suppress its more outspoken repressentitives. When will you realize that this system rewards the corrupt and the greedy with power and wealth and the Obama is as big a slime bag as McCain. The lesser of two evils is still evil.
