Something very interesting just happened. I belong to several
genealogy discussion lists, and the messages are delivered via email.
One lady had submitted several genealogy and history-related emails,
then accidentally sent a private email to the discussion list. It was
a reply to "Pastor Charles", who had apparently sent out an anti-Obama
email and video, and this lady was replying to it. An unfortunate
mistake on her part, but it proves that once again the churches are
trying to influence the vote, just as they did in 2000 and 2004. I
only hope the "pastors" are smart enough to NOT do this from the
pulpit, because that is illegal and would risk their tax-exempt
status. I also hope the congregations are smart enough to think for
themselves and not be sheep.... again.
