I am a conservative, in the same mold as Ronald Reagan, and Colin Powell has never been a Ronald Reagan conservative. Second, this is nothing more than a stunt. BIll Krystol announced this news a month ago, and Colin Powell came out and flat out denied Krystol's report. More importantly, it has nothing to do with political parties, it has to do with values, and with believing in a free market economy, less government, less government in our lives, and the traditional values and tenets that made this Nation great. No one, no American, could vote, much less endorse Senator Obama who holds these American values dear.
