The Great Republican Deception
Laurence M. Vance
December 15, 2013

Senate Republicans are still trying to block Obama’s judicial and other appointments. Meanwhile, House Republicans just passed the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2013 to fund the federal government for the next two years. The bill passed by a margin of 332-94. There were 169 Republicans out of 231 that voted in favor of the bill. The problem? The overwhelming majority of the spending authorized is not constitutional, and much of it is pure evil like funding for the TSA and DEA. It doesn’t matter who runs the bloated, unconstitutional agencies of the federal government–the agencies need to be abolished. It doesn’t matter who the judges are when the laws are so many and so arcane and so unjust–the laws need to be eliminated or changed. The idea that the Republicans in the Senate are actually doing something that means anything because they are blocking Obama’s appointments is ludicrous.
