Just looking at this from a different angle, is it possible that someone in A&E decided to do this in hopes of getting tons and tons of free publicity for their top-rated show? More viewers means higher ad rates which means more bucks in the coffer. Phil was just suspended, not fired. Could be brought back without missing even 1 show.
