Sadly it seems he embraced a form of Christianity that I do not care for, the judgemental and hateful kind!!! There are many Christian denominations that are accepting of LGBT people and many that are not ... I prefer to just try to follow the Jesus message, do unto others and all that rather than find old testament or post jesus' lifetime writings that condemn homosexuality ... I really am not aware of Jesus actually addressing it!!!
