This same program has been used here in Hillsborough County by the Plant City Police Force, with the exception that if an officer engages a civilian and does not have his camera on, it is grounds for termination.
This program just started, and I am anxious to see the results after a year or so of the policy in place. Brine, I tend to agree, that the results should benefit cops. They just have to get used to it, and many of them hate the camera! (Wonder why that is?) All-In-All, I think this is requisite in this day and age, and don't kid yourself, there are a lot of "Bad Cops" out there.....
