AQAP’s New List of Targets in US and Britain By: Anthony Kimery, Editor-in-Chief 08/27/2014 ( 8:02am) [image: Bookmark and Share] <http://www.addthis.com/bookmark.php?v=250&pub=xa-4a8ac57416db70f7> As thousands of Western jihadists, including hundreds of American passport holders, are getting hardened combat training in Syria and Iraq, Jihadists globally have been given instructions on how to make and detonate car bombs inside America in a new English-language magazine published by Al Qaeda. They've also been provided a new list of suggested targets for "lone-wolf" terror attacks. *Homeland Security Today* previously reported <http://www.hstoday.us/briefings/daily-news-analysis/single-article/new-aqap-english-language-magazine-implies-new-attack-coming-soon/d00db1a7c2f110ded16d14708d0ad8d8.html> that Al Malahem, the media arm of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) -- which recently signaled solidarity with the Islamic State -- released the first issue of its new magazine, *Palestine – Betrayal of the Guilty Conscience* <https://azelin.files.wordpress.com/2014/08/al-qc481_idah-in-the-arabian-peninsula-22palestine-betrayal-of-the-guilty-conscience22.pdf>, earlier this month that's designed to inspire jihadism among Muslims around the world, but especially in the West. It also implied that an attack is coming soon. [image: http://www.hstoday.us/uploads/RTEmagicC_Terror_targets.jpg.jpg] AQAP’s new targets for jihadi attacks include casinos and night clubs in Las Vegas; oil tankers and trains; Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, Georgia; the United State Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs and the General Atomics headquarters in San Diego, California. General Atomics is the manufacturer of the Predator drone that was used to kill top AQAP and other Al Qaeda members. AQAP’s list of targets in Europe include Britain’s Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Camberely; the Thames House, London; and Marks and Spencer stores during Friday prayers, since at that time AQAP says Muslims will be praying. Globally, AQAP also added Israeli, British and American companies, as well as tourist resorts where Israelis, Britons and Americans frequent. AQAP’s new magazine also includes a list of "Selected Jihadi Operations >From 1980-2014." Steve Stalinsky, executive director of the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), previously told *Homeland Security Today* that, “The timeline concludes with the date 201? and blank spaces and question marks for the photo and information of the next attack -- implying that it is coming soon.” When AQAP earlier expressed solidarity with jihadists in Iraq -- pledging to kill as many Americans as possible -- it called on all Islamic jihadist organizations and Muslims everywhere to do the same <http://www.hstoday.us/briefings/daily-news-analysis/single-article/aqap-calls-on-muslims-everywhere-to-kill-as-many-americans-as-possible/f2767feacfcaa5e6f8029153fbede46f.html>. In June, 2011, *Homeland Security Today* reported <http://www.hstoday.us/blogs/the-kimery-report/blog/new-details-dozens-of-top-us-military-corporate-leaders-on-aq-hit-list-ct-officials-debate-seriousness-of-threat/b5785af817bdce5249cabd37f975271c.html>that 11 of the nation’s top military leaders were among 58 past and present military, corporate and civilian officials who’d been identified by members of the Al Qaeda-linked Ansar Al Mujahedeen jihadist forum as infidels who should be murdered, according to a jihadist “hit list” that accompanied a June 6 Florida fusion center bulletin. The bulletin coincided with an unusual flurry of similar alerts that were issued at about the same time by the FBI, Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and which came on the heels of then FBI Director Robert Mueller having told the Senate Committee on the Judiciary that one of the early assessments from intelligence seized at Osama Bin Laden's compound in Pakistan is that Al Qaeda is committed to continuing attacks against the United States. While officials downplayed the “hit list” as wishful thinking by Al Qaeda-sympathetic jihadists, other counterterrorism authorities went on high alert in response to the jihadi forums’ members’ disturbing talk of assassinating top US military and corporate leaders, especially in light of testimony a few weeks earlier in a federal terrorism trial that revealed a senior Al Qaeda official had ordered Lockheed Martin chairman and CEO Robert Stevens assassinated because his company manufactures UAVs used by the US military in strikes against Al Qaeda and Taliban strongholds in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Al Qaeda leadership targets in Yemen and in special operations in Somalia. Stevens’ name was on the list of 58 names of persons jihad forum members recommended be killed in the name of jihad. __._,_.___ ------------------------------ Posted by: "Beowulf" <[email protected]> ------------------------------ Visit Your Group <https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/grendelreport/info;_ylc=X3oDMTJmY2huNjk0BF9TAzk3MzU5NzE0BGdycElkAzIwMTk0ODA2BGdycHNwSWQDMTcwNTMyMzY2NwRzZWMDdnRsBHNsawN2Z2hwBHN0aW1lAzE0MDk4NjAxMDU-> [image: Yahoo!
