Obama's Terrorism/Amnesty Identity Crisis

By Jan LaRue <http://www.americanthinker.com/jan_larue>

President Obama has a “feel safe” sleep aid for Americans -- stop thinking
about Islamic terrorism as a domestic threat, and stop fretting about
amnesty.

Don’t toss and turn because terrorists motivated by radical Islamic
beliefs aren't included in the FBI's newly released “2013 National Threat
Assessment for Domestic Extremism
<http://freebeacon.com/national-security/fbi-national-domestic-threat-assessment-omits-islamist-terrorism/>.”
According to the highly-respected journalist Bill Gertz
<http://freebeacon.com/national-security/fbi-national-domestic-threat-assessment-omits-islamist-terrorism/>,
writing for the *Washington Free Beacon *on Aug. 29:

The FBI’s most recent national threat assessment for domestic terrorism
makes no reference to Islamist terror threats, despite last year’s Boston
Marathon bombing and the 2009 Fort Hood shooting -- both carried out by
radical Muslim Americans.

Indeed, Islamists are specifically excluded as domestic threats, according
to Gertz:

Instead, the internal FBI intelligence report concluded in its 2013
assessment published this month that the threat to U.S. internal security
from extremists is limited to attacks and activities by eight types of
domestic extremist movements -- none motivated by radical Islam.

They include anti-government militia groups and white supremacy extremists,
along with “sovereign citizen” nationalists, and anarchists. Other domestic
threat groups outlined by the FBI assessment include violent animal rights
and environmentalist extremists, black separatists, anti- and pro-abortion
activists, and Puerto Rican nationalists.

Gertz also mentioned that a former FBI agent told him that the FBI has
appointed a domestic Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas support organization
leader to an FBI advisory council at the Washington headquarters. Clearly,
he’s had his way with how FBI assesses threats:

FBI spokesman Paul Bresson said the issue of not identifying
Islamist-origin terrorism in the report “has more to do with how the FBI,
from an organizational standpoint, distinguishes [domestic terrorism] and
[international terrorism].”

Thus, our shared national nightmare on 9/11/01 brought to us
transnationally by Osama bin Laden wouldn’t qualify as domestic terrorism,
according to the FBI.

Also not included in the “Threat Assessment” is any of the 36 members of
Islamic terrorist organizations on the FBI’s list of 38 “Most Wanted
Terrorists
<http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/wanted_terrorists/@@wanted-group-listing>.”

Here's another insomnia-inducer. Four men with ties to terrorist
organizations tried to cross the Texas border on Sept. 10, according to
Rep. Jacob Chaffetz
<http://foxnewsinsider.com/2014/09/17/chaffetz-says-4-men-terror-ties-tried-cross-border-sept-10>(R-Utah)
who appeared on “The Kelly File” on Fox News on Sept. 17:

Today at a House Committee on Homeland Security hearing, Rep. Jason
Chaffetz (R-Utah) asked Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson about the
report that four men tried to cross the Texas border last week, and that
they have known ties to terrorist organizations. Johnson said that he had
“heard reports to that effect” but did not know the accuracy of the reports.

Even if the four illegals were on the "Most Wanted" list, they
wouldn't make mention in the "Threat Assessment" either. Maybe they would
if they'd made it over the fence and through an unlocked door of the White
House, as one intruder
<http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/09/22/prosecutor-white-house-intruder-had-800-rounds-ammo-machete-in-car/>happened
to do last Friday. Unless, of course, it was accompanied by a shout of
“Allahu Akbar.”

The scandal-plagued
<http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2014/03/26/secret-service-scandals-netherlands/6906965/>Secret
Service, contrary to assumptions south of the border down Mexico way,
hasn’t adopted the Boss’s “Y’all come” policy for his amnesty-induced
“Dreamers.”

Even Obama’s “Dream” team at the Washington *Post* is concerned that the
Homeland Security Department is overwhelmed by “terrorist strikes and
cyberattacks” and the “crisis of unaccompanied minors crossing the
southwest border in recent months.” The *Post* reported Monday
<http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/top-level-turnover-makes-it-harder-for-dhs-to-stay-on-top-of-evolving-threats/2014/09/21/ca7919a6-39d7-11e4-9c9f-ebb47272e40e_story.html>that
the agency is losing top-level management at an alarming rate due to
“dysfunctional work environment, abysmal morale, and the lure of private
security companies.”

Here’s another eye-popper. The U.S. State Department has posted a list of
dozens of “Designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations
<http://www.state.gov/j/ct/rls/other/des/123085.htm>,” the vast majority of
which are Islamic. Couple that with Homeland Security Secretary
Johnson admitting
to Chaffetz
<http://foxnewsinsider.com/2014/09/17/chaffetz-says-4-men-terror-ties-tried-cross-border-sept-10>
:

“466,000 people have been captured crossing the border over the last 351
days. Those who were captured came from 143 different countries, including
Syria, Iraq and Iran. … 157,000 people got away.”

Be happy, don’t worry that any of them is on the State Department’s list.
Rest assured that none of this should cause us to pace the floor when those
recurring amnesty nightmares intensify after the election.

On Monday, Vice President Joe Biden promised that President Barack Obama
would "do an awful lot" for illegal immigrants with executive actions
toward amnesty. He said if Republicans don't "see the lord" on immigration
after the midterm elections, then they will feel some "lightning,” according
to Breitbart News
<http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/09/22/Biden-Promises-Obama-Will-Do-an-Awful-Lot-on-Exec-Amnesty-GOP-Will-Feel-Lightning>
.

Is Vice “lord” Biden admitting that such an executive action by “lord”
Obama violates the Constitution? The rest of us won’t “feel” it, just the
GOP. Right.

According to Andrew Johnson, writing for
<http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/388472/hispanic-caucus-lets-obama-delay-executive-amnesty-again-time-protect-mary-landreiu>*National
Review*, Obama’s amnesty advocates are giving him a pass until December:

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) is giving President Obama some
wiggle room on his executive action on immigration, saying it can wait even
until after a potential December runoff that could decide control of the
Senate.

It might be the trailer for *Bad Santa 2*
<http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/film/film-news/10478633/Bad-Santa-2-coming-in-2014.html>.
It opens with Obama at the National Christmas Tree lighting. He shows off
his Christmas Sharpie and iPhone 6 Plus. He proclaims that he’s checked his
list for who’s naughty or nice and throws the amnesty free for all switch.
Roll credits as another national nightmare begins.

Take two Obama placebos and call Congress in the morning. They need all the
wakeup calls we can make.
