I do not see this purported "Zionist extortion of America"
---
the Zionists in Germany, led by the Jew, Chaim Weitzman, who later became
the 1st President of Israel, went to the British War Cabinet and said:
“Don’t capitulate to Germany. You can win this war if the United States
comes in as your ally. We can arrange this. But in return, you must promise
us Palestine once the tide turns in your favor.”
---

U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham on
<http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomacy-defense/1.634286> who leads Congress:

Graham (R-S.C.), who is expected to take over as chairman of the Foreign
Appropriations Subcommittee when the Republicans assume control of the
Senate in January, met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the
Israeli capital on Saturday night.

Graham told Netanyahu that “the Congress will follow your lead” ...

Is it bribery or extortion that turns U.S. politicians into compliant fools?

Press Briefing by Scott McClellan, December 22, 2003.
<http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2003/12/20031222.html>

Q Is the President in favor of international inspection of Israel's nuclear
arsenal, which is pretty well known?

MR. McCLELLAN: I don't know that I agree with that, the premise of your
question. But the United States has a longstanding position of universal
adherence to the treaty on the nonproliferation of nuclear weapons. That
has been our longstanding position --

Q They never signed it.

MR. McCLELLAN: -- and that is universal adherence. Well, we have urged all
states that have not yet adhered to the treaty to do so, and to accept the
IAEA safeguards on nuclear activities that would come with it.

Q Are we trying to persuade Israel to sign it, and to be open to inspection?

MR. McCLELLAN: I think that, one, in terms of specifics about the Israeli
government, you need to refer those questions to the Israeli government.

Q No, no, I'm asking our position.

MR. McCLELLAN: And I've told you that the long held position of the United
States is the universal adherence to the nonproliferation treaty.

In 1992, Harry Katz phoned the President of AIPAC, David Steiner, to offer
contributions. Steiner proceeded to make several claims, including
negotiating with then-candidate Bill Clinton over who would be Secretary of
State, and had already "cut a deal" with Baker for more aid to Israel.

Unknown to Steiner, Katz taped the phone call and gave the recording to the
media, worried that AIPAC's influence had grown to dangerous levels.

Following the release of transcripts of the phone conversation, David
Steiner was forced to resign the Presidency of AIPAC.

The following is a transcript of the Oct. 22, 1992 conversation with
President David Steiner of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee
(AIPAC) recorded without his knowledge by New York businessman Haim (Harry)
Katz. Its existence was first revealed to the Washington Times and its
release triggered Steiner's resignation.
