My response? Nazi extremism increased in direct proportion to increased employment and economic prosperity in pre-WWII Germany. Liberal readers of mine may find that last statement *too nuanced* to understand, so let me say it another way: Hitler recruited more extremists into the Nazi movement after he restored economic stability and ended mass unemployment. So actually, jobs, jobs, jobs led to the expansion of Nazi extremism, not to its abatement. For those who dislike allusions to Nazism because of Godwin's Law, let me state that one can only invoke Godwin's Law when the comparison being made is irrelevant or malapropos <http://plancksconstant.org/blog1/2014/08/the_godwins_law_excuse_a_gestapo_tactic_to_end_dis.html> . But for those who abhor analogies let me respond thus: all the terrorists in the London Bombings were not jobless losers; here's the motivation behind the 7 July 2005 bombings as stated in a videotape by Mohammad Sidique Khan who killed seven people including himself: BBC, London bomber: Text in full <http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/4206800.stm> I and thousands like me are forsaking everything for what we believe. Our driving motivation doesn't come from tangible commodities that this world has to offer. Our religion is Islam - obedience to the one true God, Allah, and following the footsteps of the final prophet and messenger Muhammad... This is how our ethical stances are dictated. Your democratically elected governments continuously perpetuate atrocities against my people all over the world. And your support of them makes you directly responsible, just as I am directly responsible for protecting and avenging my Muslim brothers and sisters. Until we feel security, you will be our targets. And until you stop the bombing, gassing, imprisonment and torture of my people we will not stop this fight. We are at war and I am a soldier. Now you too will taste the reality of this situation. Mohammad Sidique Khan, aged 30 when he died, lived in Beeston, Leeds, with his wife and young child, where he worked as a learning mentor at a primary school. Contrary to the idiotic notions of the Obama administration, he had a job. I don't mean his job as a mentor, I mean his job as a Muslim - a job whose supreme purpose, whose over-riding goal, as for all good Muslims, is to fight the infidel until the only religion on Earth is Islam. Mohammad Sidique Khan did not need a job of this world because he had no use for the *tangible commodities that this world has to offer*, but for the rewards of the world to come. What's truly laughable about the notion of jobs for jihadists is that Obama can't get jobs for Americans, how's he going to get jobs for Muslims in third world shitholes?
