Come April, *Hillary Clinton may officially be a candidate again*.
The Wall Street Journal reported

Monday that Hillary Clinton and “her close advisers are telling Democratic
donors *she will enter the presidential race sooner than expected, likely
in April, a move that would allay uncertainties within her party and allow
her to rev up fundraising*.”
“Jumping in sooner would help the Democratic field take shape, reassuring
party leaders and donors that the former first lady, senator and secretary
of state is running,” the Journal explained. “A super PAC loyal to Mrs.
Clinton has faced hesitation from donors who don’t want to make big pledges
until she is a candidate.”
The news comes as the Republican presidential primary is heating up, with
potential candidates wooing donors and giving speeches to activists in
early nominating states. Many of these candidates appeared at CPAC — the
Conservative Political Action Conference — last week.
Meanwhile, Clinton’s inevitability as the Democratic nominee still remains
threatened by progressives like Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who is
being pressured to run as an alternative to the former secretary of state.
*Most early polling shows Clinton leading potential Republican nominees in
hypothetical head-to-head match-ups in swing states, partly due to her high
name recognition as former first lady and secretary of state.* But
political observers expect her numbers to go down once she becomes a
candidate and has to weigh in on the politics of the day.
