Good Morning Bruce,
It looks as if you got that off of the "Google Help" page.
No matter, I am familiar with Google's "Spam Prevention" methods, which has
nothing to do with Google Groups by the way. Google is obviously going
through some changes, and I have seen a number of "Snafus" and what some
of the moderators call: "Google FUBAR's" where something quits working,
or some aspect of Google "G-Mail" and/or Google Groups goes daffy.
For instance, just recently Google announced that all of the "Google
Blogs" were going to be disallowed from posting or carrying pornography.
("Google Blogs" are not the same as "Google Groups" by the way) we saw
numerous Google FUBAR's in H-Mail and Google Groups, the week that this
took place, just a couple of weeks ago.
